Disneyland Disability Pass?!
Question: I am going to disneyland this weekend... and I recently had a liver transplant and am on IV medications that suppress my immune system a lot. I cannot be in large groups of people [ie... long lines] for very long... but i hear that the disability passes are near impossible to get? Is this true? Am I able to get one? My doctor has written me a note....

Yes they have the passes you are looking for and yes they have become harder to get but not for people who really need them. I used to work at Disneyland and I can tell you they cracked down because people mainly teenagers would push one of their friends in a wheelchair saying they were hurt to cheat all the lines. It made the lines for the people who really needed them so long upwards of an hour sometimes. If you have a note from the doctor you shouldn't have a problem at all. Just be aware that sometimes the place they have you wait will be filled with people as well and you will still have to wait just not as long. Normally about 5-15 minutes depending on the ride. Some are much worse though. Pirates normally had a very long SAP line ( Special Assitance Pass ).
Actually, they do have disability passes. My cousin has severe autism, so he got a disability pss that allowed him to skip lines. The max waiting time was like 15-20 minutes. I think u go to the Main Street Railroad, somewhere near the entrance. Make sure u bring your doctor's note.
