In your mouth. A lot of cigarette smokers inhale the smoke and turn green ( no, really green!) at first, but get used to it. You are supposed to "taste " the smoke, not breath it, except as second hand smoke. You will also find that you will want to spit a lot, so smoke out side, and spit. If you swallow the spit, it'll make you sick (there's that funny green color again) until you get used to it.
