Could I have pink eye??!

Question: I came into work yesterday, and this woman had bought her child with her as she had no babysitter and the little girl had pink eye. The child was 2 years old and was touching everything including my work space. I washed everything down with 409 and water, and I didn't touch my eyes at all. I also washed my hands.Today one of my eyes is a little irritated. I wonder if I am comming down with Pink eye? Or am I just overreacting?

Conjunctivitis makes itself known in the morning. Your eyes will be filled with pus if it's a bacterial infection (which is most likely what you'd have gotten from the child) and sometimes the eyes will be glued shut. There will also be an itch. Viral would be accompanied by some cold symptoms and not what we typically call "pinkeye." Bacterial really should be seen by a doctor that can prescribe antibiotics. And do everyone at your office a favor and wash your hands frequently.. and DON'T touch your eyes!

You may have pink eye, even if you don't you may want to put a warm washcloth over it just to help the irritation. Other then that there is not much else you can do unless it gets really bad and then you may want to go to the doctors and have it looked at, becuase then they will be able to give you medicine for it.

You will know tomorrow morning when you can't open your eyes because they are glued together with that yellow crap. Get someone to get you a warm washcloth and soak your eyelids to soften it and clean it up.

it is possible, but maybe your mind is just thinking you're getting pink eye. if u really do have pink eye, just wait it out, i've had it many times, it's not that bad.
