Possible chicken pox?!

Question: My daughter who is 7, and has had the chicken pox vacinne, when she was about 1 1/2. started getting red bumps/rash on her entire body 48 hours ago. I took her to the dr and they think it is NOT chicken pox. She isnt running a fever, or any other symptoms. The spots have not started to blister or anything. But they are seeming to be getting more blotchy. Her dr said it could be an allergic reaction to something she ingested. The only thing she is allergic to is Penicillin..Which she has not had. But they also said that some animals, are fed penicillin. Cows, chickens etc,. So she could have transfered it that way. I am just a little worried about this mysterious rash. Which is also itchy. It is from head to toe.Any ideas, or advice?

has she eaten blue cheese......or anything like it.....because the often use the same bacteria the use for penicillin to make blue cheese..I had a friend who was allergic to penicillin and the doc said to not eat that....she also has a seafood allergy....hope this may help

doesnt sound like chicken pox im probably just strange but i would take her to the hospital i took my little one when he had chicken pox and they kept him in. they cant refuse to see her x

if a doctor saw it with there own eyes and thought it was nothing to worry about...give it time. If the suggested allergic reaction, and it is itchy...did they recommend something like benedryl? By age 7 the drug should be safe...read the label or consider another call to the dr. if your are uncertain. There is even a topical bendryl spray that helped me when i had chicken pox at age 18 (years ago)
