Real bad canker sore!?!

Question: I have a real bad canker sore on the soft part of my inner lip. It hurts like the dickens. I have also been sick the past two days and am wondering if it could be infected, although I have been persistantly applying Hydrogen Peroxide and salt on it. My questions is, will the salt help? I've heard it can irritate it. Second is, could it be infected?

I have a very small fever and a horrible cough, chest pain and a headache. I'm very tired lately and feel extremely weak. I have had Pneumonia 5 times in my life and I have a major predisposition for it. I was in the snow up in the mountains a few days ago and got my feet wet in icy snow, causing some redness (beginnings of frostbite). Is it Pneumonia or infection, or flue, and what can I do to stop it?

I don't know about pneumonia. I'm not a doctor to diagnose it.
Salt increases the rate of your wound to heal, so continue rinsing your mouth with salted warm and clean water. Do not use hydrogen peroxide because it will only make your sore bigger. FYI, Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria and your normal cells, and HP is no longer advisable to use.

You probably licked a kooch or sucked a slong that was infected.

I'm no doctor, but I recommend you see one ASAP. This sounds serious.

You might need antibiotics if you have fever and a sore.

hmm.... health issue... hmm.... go to the doctor..... hmm.....

canker sore thing you can buy medicine at any drug store, i've used, and is very good, you use a special liquid on a q tip thing and it covers the canker sore so it can heal properly. its made by colagate i think, and the other thing go to a dr.
