Been sick for nearly 3 weeks? I think I might have allergies!?!

Question: Okay 2.5 weeks ago started to get a cold. About a week into it I noticed that I had stuffy nose sometimes and then a runny nose. It was colored at first (yellow goo), post nasal drip which is causing that cough that is so annyoying, itchy ears, tired/dry eyes and sometimes watery eyes, loss of taste, loss of smell, EXTREMELEY FATIGUED, muschle aches and pains.

On monday I crawled into the ER and she said I had viral thing plus a sinus infection. This is day 4 of my antibiotic treatment and I still feel like crap!

My nose is still stuffy and runny but the runny is "CLEAR" and there is loads of it.

Does this sound like ALLERGIES TO YOU?

CAN ALLERGIES MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'VE BEEN HIT MY A TRUCK? DEAD TIRED OVER HERE!

It could definately be allergies! I've felt like dump since the weekend. My throat is so sore, muscles ache, so sleepy. It doesn't feel like a regular cold/flu. I went to the doc on Tuesday and he said that I had a "virus" but I still don't think it is. I finally decided to take an over the counter allergy pill and I'm actually starting to feel better! It's worth investigating!

You probably have a secondary bacterial infection
of the sinuses.
You need to call your doctor so that they can
change the prescription, ASAP.
Viral infections frequently create bacterial infections, so
the antibiotic has to be changed.
3 weeks is WAY too long to go without relief.
It does not sound like allergies to me.
Good luck and get well soon! : )
