Did i do it to myself?!?!

Question: I had a sinus infection a month ago and was given antibiotics for it. I also used a saline nasal spray.
Well i used the spray again a few times for the past 4 days. Now i feel like i am getting sick again. And i have green snot. (sorry tmi)

could i have possibly re-infected myself again with a sinus infection?

Probably not re-infected. It probably never cleared completely from the first time. The sinuses are very poorly reached by antibiotics. Most ENT providers agree that you should be treated for a minimum of 14 days with antibiotics to clear a "real" bacterial sinusitis. If it's viral it will clear much quicker. You may need to be treated again but for a longer time this time.

i guess it's possible, but I'm not possitive. Talk to your doctor more about the symptoms.

P.S. I love ur pic.!

I don't think so, unless it wasn't really a sinus infection to begin with and you got it again.

Yes you could have. ANYTIME you have an infection and have to take antibiotics- you should get rid of anything that can carry the germs- even toothbrushes. If you are shoving a saline spray nozzle up your nose- you are contaminating the nozzle- then you shove it up your nose again- you are recontaminating yourself- and will be in danger of having to have a different round of antibiotics- Stay safe- throw the crap out and spend another 2 bucks on more- or make your own- salt water....cheap! If you use a netti pot, be sure and sterilize it as well!
