I hate it when people are so quick to suggest taking some stupid over the counter drugs or antibiotics. There's a time and place for them, but not for everything.

It's sounds like you need to focus on balancing your system and boosting your immune system. God created the human to survive, and it's ability to do so is amazing. The equation that seems to consistently get left out is that, just like for a car to run properly, it needs to have regular maintenance and 'good' fuel.

Our bodies rely on the nutrients that it can extract from the foods we eat. Impossible to provide the BODY'S REQUIRED levels of nutrients these days, due to the depletion of vital nutrients in our soils and farming practices, pesticides, etc. It's my belief that the FDA has failed the people they've vowed to protect, and I'm not alone in that belief. The RDA's they suggest are so low and they were established to stave off Rickets and Scurvey. To assist the human body in it's ability to succeed, fend off dis-ease conditions and perform at peak levels, we need to supplement our diets and I'm not talking about One-A-Day, Theragram M, or any of the other hard pressed, useless supplements.

I won't bore you with details, but what I hear you saying is that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. You want to feel better and not go through this every season, right? When you're feeling crappy, it's your body's way of telling you that it needs some help. It's needing something that you're not giving it. That is the real purpose that "symptoms" serve. It's a wake up call that all is not well in the "engine" department. Drink Green Tea every day.

I'm going to give you a link to some info. that I believe will actually help you turn the tide. Please know that I have no affiliation with any of these products. I just believe that they are superior and have something very viable to offer to any person's overall health and well being. Drugs are NOT what you are needing right now! Nutrition IS.

If you've tried medicine already like zicam or nyquil and it hasn't got better you should see a doctor about it.

It's probably a sinus or respiratory infection. you need antibiotics.

Do you have a small humidifier to run in your room at home, especially when you sleep, this helps alot. Just go to Walmart or something and pick one up and start using it right away. Also, try to find some eucalyptis oil. I usually get it at my local health food store. I put a dab of it on the collar of my shirt everyday before going out, helps clear the sinuses and also helps kill germs before you breath them in. Any way, that's what i do in the winter.

It does sound like your sinuses. You need to first stay healthy by eating a balanced diet and staying away from sugary drinks and caffeine. Make sure you eat lots of vegetables and stay hydrated by drinking 8 glasses of water. Stay away from medicine. Try a netipot. It is a small pot that you can use daily to clean you sinuses. I used to have the same problem. I use the pot twice a week and i haven't been sick or sufferred in over 2 years. http://www.himalayaninstitute.org/Netipo...

If this always happens in the winter, it is most likely that you do have allergies. See an allergist and get tested. Best of luck to you.

Go to a ENT (Ear, Nose and throat) doctor who can treat and cure what you have and make everything go away. They have the answers.

wash your hands better, eat a healthy diet, and exercise. for now, treat your symptoms.
