Having hard time breathing..?!

Question: this is the 2nd day where I have about 10mins where its like i'm having a hard time breathing....like when your nervous and can't breath. I just try to relax and in 10mins or so i'm ok. its not like my nose is plugged.....feels like the trouble is coming from behind my nose, rather then my chest? Maybe the trouble is from my chest?
Last week i was having chest pains from what I think it was from stress....then i had a great unstressful weekend and no more chest pains.
I'm thinking this breathing is from stress too? should I go to the doc? I have alot of stress from planning our wedding and job has been very stressful with moving me to different departments.
what can I do to feel better with breathing?
thanks

The problems sound alot like stress, and the stuffy nose puts you over the edge. You can easily manage the stuffy nose - get Claritin-D or Zyrtec-D from the pharmacist (these products have sudafed, so you have to sign for them).

You also need to find a way to work out the stress - set aside some time every day for something relaxing. A very easy way is to take a 15-20 minute walk every day, and take along an MP3 player if you have one. While walking, focus of slow, deep, and relaxed breaths, and try to let your shoulders just melt and relax. You could also try daily stretching, yoga, swimming, stopping all wedding planning or other work-type activities early in the evening and finishing out the day by reading something fun; or even getting a therapeutic massage.

I recommend you to start learning yoga. And if you are having symptoms worst than the ones you have mentioned, please consult a doctor for medical advice..

HTH..

You could try The Buteyko Method but you should probably not delay in seeing your doctor.
