Can bugs or spiders pass on a bacterial infection??!

Question: I stayed in a hotel and woke up with bite marks across my chest, up my neck, behind my ear to the side of my head. No clue what type of bite it was (did however rule out bedbugs). A few days later the skin around my ear and on the side of my head started peeling really bad and was all broken open. Went to a walk-in and got an antibiotic but the doc was a jerk and I couldn't get him to answer any of my questions. I'm a clean person so it's not like things just grow on me. Anyways.. Can bug bites cause that? Never seen anything like it before.

You may have gotten bitten by "bed bugs." Oftentimes the bite mark is an inflammatory reaction and will heal in time, sometimes it is an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction.

But, yes, some bugs and spiders can transmit a range of microbial diseases, namely viruses and parasites. If you begin to have flu like symptoms, peculiar aches or other body symptoms or if the bite marks start looking like wounds instead of healing, see a doc ASAP.

it's highly possible

You may be allergic to the bugs venom and you are having a reaction. Try going to a different doctor or you can go to the pharmacist.
Sorry about the bites. I hope you heal soon. =D
