I'm Pregnant with an STD, Help?!

Question: I'm 22 weeks pregnant and MY OB/GYN doctor diagnosed with Chlamydia. I received treatment for it with an antibiotic called ZOTHROMAX. Hopefully, it will be gone by a week or so and my unborn baby wouldn't be harmed. I took 2 tablets today. What happens when I go back to the doctors in a week?

My partner might have the STD as well. He is 21 years old and does not have MEDICAID. Can he go somewhere like Planned Parenthood to get tested and receive treatment? I live in the NYC Metro area.

The first time that I was pregnant, I was 23 weeks and diagnosed with chlamydia. They gave me medicine, and I was fine after. Chlamydia is the only std that is treatable. When you go back to the doctor, he will test you and see if it is still there.. but I am pretty sure it is gone. For your boyfriend, see if you can take him to like planned parenthood, or a free clinic.

He should be able to go to a Planned Parenthood. In the meantime, you guys should not have sex until he gets treated because he will just pass it right back to you. Your baby will be fine.

make sure yous arent having sex!
even once and you'll be reinfected.
you could try going to anothe rdoctor, telling them you were already tested but lost your script, then fill it and give it to your partner??

ask your ob/gyn if he will prescribe your boyfriend medication for it as well

He has to be treated, planned parent hood should work. No sex untill he is. You are at risk for pre-term labor.

They have sex with him any more because you can get it back. The doctor will check you again to make sure it is gone. She might have to give the baby some antibiotics too.
