Is my tongue infected?!

Question: I got my tongue peirced almost three weeks ago,
and I have this white liquid comming out of the bottom of it.
It doesnt do it all the time.
There is no pain.
And no swelling.
I do smoke Malboro's.
Should I go to the Dr. about it?
Is it infected?

What are the signs of infection?

Also, Don't post stupid **** here.

If there is no redness, swelling or pain, then it probably isn't an infection. Infection usually result in green or yellow drainage. If I were you, I would visit the doctor just to be safe... that way if it is an infection, you can get it taken care of before it gets out of control.

what i would advise is to visit NHS direct.com

You don't post stupid ****.

chances are yes from infection. do you use listerine twice a day like you were supposed to? if yes, then probably not infected. however, the white 'liquid' is a sign something is wrong. could simply be ash from the ciggy. try not smoking a bit, and see if clears up. otherwise, rinse more thoroughly with listerine.

Please consult your Doctor immediately for necessary examination and treatment.

Probably go to the doc. I would use salt water not listerine for rinsing.
