Odd symptoms!!! Please help!?!

Question: So this has been bugging me for quite awhile. For some reason randomly I will be working, and all of a sudden the front of my face will feel tingly and my eyes will feel irritated, and I have a kind of sense of confusion. I feel like I can't concentrate, and it almost feels allergy related, but I can't be sure. I haven't come across anybody saying they have had any mental troubles while having allergy problems, and it's really bugging me. It can happen while I'm at work, at the mall, at a restaurant, or sometimes when I'm just sitting at home. Please help!

I also have been having other problems, like I will randomly feel weak or dizzy, and my heart will be racing. I've gone to the doctor and had an EKG taken, and also had a 24-hour holter monitor, and an event monitor, but with nothing found on them. So someone please let me know if this sounds familiar!

Oh no, I am so sorry this is happening to you. I am thinking of a couple of things:
Panic attack--Especially when you say your face gets numb. Don't laugh, a lot of people have them and have no idea that's what they are. They are scary. Can come on at any time.
Blood sugar--Are you diabetic? Have you ever been tested for it? You may need an A1C drawn to be sure. At the very least, they can prock your finger at the doctor and tell you what your sugar is at that particular moment.
Medication reaction--You taking anything for high blood pressure? Have you started any new meds lately?

Best of luck to you.

I am 19 and I am 5'11" and only weigh 135. I'm skinny, and the doctor says I have no signs of diabetes. I don't know if I'm hypoglycemic, but I don't think I am. It seems to just happen randomly, but yeah, I should probably get it checked by a doctor. Thanks guys! Report It

  • Have your blood sugar tested. It's possible you could be developing diabetes or hypoglycemia. Hope you find out soon.

It could be panic disorder. You are describing the symptoms of a panic attack.

well if your not taking heroin or any illegal drugs, check fif you have diabetes.
