Itching welts?!

Question: whenever something brushes against my skin it turns into red bumpy welts that last hours. the itching has been driving me crazy for weeks. i have an autoimmune disease and i'm guessing it has a lot to do with this. i'm unable to see a doctor until mid march. i understand i need to see a doctor but in the meantime, would any of you know creams or remedies that could help? or even better, what could be this skin problem that i have?

ice helps, but hydrocortizone cream and lotions don't at all.

Use oral benadryl until you see the doctor.

I really dont understand why you can't see a doctor until mid March.
If you are really bothered about it why not go to A&E?
