Mono..............?!

Question: about 6 weeks ago, i went to the doctor becasue my throat hurt SO bad on just one side. so i figured it was either an ear infection or strep. and when i went to the doctor, they swabbed for strep, and took blood. it turns out that i had strep AND mono. i have no idea how i got mono because there was nobody in our town that i have heard had mono or anything. well, its been about 6 weeks since they told me i had mono, and yesterday and today, i have been feeling really weak and tired. yesterday at work, i felt like i was going to pass out cuz i got kinda light headed and felt SO tired. is it possible that maybe i have mono again??

Mono takes about 6 months to fully leave the body, so you can have random symptoms for as long as that virus is in your body. I have gotten it twice, two different strains, and one of them seemed to drag out longer than the other. It all depends on your body. Just try to get lots of rest and take care of yourself well until you are feeling better.

Mono is really prevelant among people who live in close quarters...like college dorms. I never heard of mono until I went away to college.
There is no cure, you just need lots of rest and it takes a very long time to get out of your system usually about 3-6 months.
