I think it is a sort of wart. It looks like a tiny black dot surrounded by really white skin and then maybe a little red on the outside. You mostly get them on your feet, but they can actually be anywhere on the body.

your right it is just a wart on the foot. it can for some ppl be painful and for others not, you should try to avoid bear feet as it can be easily spread also if you share shower facilities ensure you clean well afterwards. majority of verrucas will disappear on there own this could take up to two years though. the cheapest option is to go to your gp to receive treatment. also if any hard skin forms around the verruca you should regularly exfoliate this skin as it is building ontop of the verruca. good luck
