Help!! irritation....?!

Question: kinda embarassing.......one of my areola is inflamed and or irritated by something. maybe its the detergent i use? or just friction from clothes? BTW, i use free and clear washing detergent. anyone got any insight? im a guy by the way....help! could it just be dryness?

could be the fabric you're wearing.. happens to my ex when he exercises/runs with certain shirts.
