carmex eats your skin on your lips so thats why its not working. Use Blixtex medicated until your lips get better then use blitex fuison(the one with the ball on the end) to keep them nice.

Try burt's bees lip balm. It's a softer lip balm than Carmex. It's made from beeswax.

20 bottles of blistex.

try very thick glossy lip glosssss

Carmex is horrible for your lips and actually causes them to dry out more.

I swear by Burt's Bee's lip balm. I got my bf using it and he works outside in the cold a lot and it helps him not have chapped lips.

To exfoliate the dead skin off, rub a little bit of honey on your lips and rub it around with your lips. It is a natural exfoliant.

After you do that, keep them moisturized.

Hope this helps!

vaseline that one used for babies superrrr good and put as many times as u like

At bath time use a washcloth with warm water and gently wash over the lips. after bath and before bed time put vaseline over lips, each night and it should get better.

Here are a few ideas to heal the issue.

Natural Remedies to Cure Peeling Lips!

SHEA BUTTER
11/26/2007: DZ from New Canaan, CT writes, "Reponse to Sandy regarding her peeling lips: I have had similar reactions after using lipstick from MAC a few years ago. However, I discovered after spending weeks trying to heal them that most lipsticks and even chapsticks, balms, etc. (even the natural ones) contain some type of alcohol! So the peeling cycle never ends. I believe this is a marketing scheme by the companies that manufacture the products. If your lips are dry you will continually apply the product -- very sneaky!! I suggest you only use 100% natural products like shea butter (my favorite, worked in 2 days after applying 2x a day). Coconut oil might also work. I have also used Vaseline but it didn't work as fast as the shea butter (which I bought very cheaply at iherb... make sure it's 100% shea). Hope this helps. Please give us an update!"

VITAMIN E
11/25/2007: Joyce from Joelton, Tn writes: "To Sandy (littledove): Try some Vit. A&D ointment on those peeling lips. You can also open a Vit. E capsule and apply it to your lips. Both of these are soothing and healing. You also note when the peeling is worse- following mouth wash use, etc. One mouth wash in particular made my entire mouth burn and peel. I have to steer clear of all Avon lipsticks (everyone I tried caused peeling lips). "

Best of health to you

try applying a thick layer of vaseline and exfoliating ur lips with a toothbrush :) then apply lots of vaseline.

HOwever, you should see a doctor because this is not normal.

Make sure you are drinking enough water, dehydration in the body can cause dry lips. Hydrate yourself, take the warm washcloth that some one else recommended, and hold it on for several minutes, rewarm the wahcloth as needed. Use a fresh clean one each time. Then apply some clean vaseline, or blistex. Do this at least at bedtime everynight, or whenever you think about it during the day.
You didn't say if you're male or female, but you can do this before you put on your lipstick in the morning.
And be sure all your lipsticks and things you use on your lips are clean and fresh, those things do carry bacteria.
Avoid allowing acid foods to touch your lips, just use a straw to drink your juice.
And get some humidity into your household. Boil a pot of water on the stove, and watch it, so you don't burn your house down!
If this continues, see a doctor, vitamin or mineral deficiencies are rare, but it could be.
