What Is The Quickest Way To Remove Sunburn?!

Question: I'm really sunburnt on my face and it burns up really quickly. Is there anyway to remove it quickly, like over night? Or anything I can do instead of waiting?

I know what your going through; pale skin + redhead = instant sunburn!

What I do is put on more sun screen! I know its strange but it does work; it stops the sunburn going further into any more layers of skin. And as other people have said, Aloe Vera. You can also buy some after sun moisturizer too.

And drink LOTS of water, it hydrates your skin.

Hope this helps :)

Sorry, but it's going to last days... your skin is damaged.

You could put on some Aloe Vera to soothe it though :)

I hope you weren't out getting burnt on purpose!

im afraid there isn't an instant cure, however natural yogurt is amazin, it is so cool and does something amazing when placed on sunburn, i burnt my back really badly once and this was without doubt the best treatment, and slightly messy, but totally worth it, you should be grand though as you can clearly see the application. x

Aloe Vera lotion is good.
But nothing will make it go away overnight.

If it hurts take aspirin (if you can).
Hydrate. Drink lots of water.

Next time use sun screen. These sunburns
can come back to haunt you as you age.
giving you all kinds of skin problems.

One thing I do is tie my hair back, put vaseline all over my face and sleep on my back. this usually gets rid of the sting and most of the redness. If you are prone to breakouts this probably isn't a good idea though.
Aloe Vera is really good too.

lots of moisturizer!...good luck

OK i know this is going to sound weird but it works for me every time, but you must have an air conditioner, if i have a sun burnt face i will sleep with the air con in my bedroom blowing directly onto my face all night while i sleep, you will wake up with a lot less pain and after the second night you will have none at all, like i said, it works for me.

go to the drugstore & buy a 1% hydrocortizone cream (not ointment.) apply this to your sunburn for 2-3 days. it should take down the redness. take aspirin to reduce the inflammation. do not use over 3 days as you can get steriod induced acne.
PLEASE wear sunscreen & reapply every 2 hours if out in the sun. 2-3 sunburns in life increase your chance of skin cancer five-fold or so....
good luck!
