How to fight a cold i am sneezing and coughing?!
Question: Take Zicam to get rid of the cold virus. After wards take Vitamin C and Zinc once a day before you eat a meal. It builds your immune system up. Although, if you take Zinc you might want to take Copper with it because excess Zinc in your diet can lead to Copper-Deficiency Anemia. It is a double edge sword but you will never catch a cold or the flu again as long as you take the Vitamin C and Zinc supplement pills daily. I've been taking Vitamin C and Zinc for over 5 years now. It has been that long since the last time I had any kind of illness.

Vit C and garlic
Good old Sudafed(but bring your ID with you or have parents buy it). Sometimes a humidifier might help with the nose bit. I like to snooze at night when I am ill with a wet cloth over the bridge of my nose to help keep my nose clear.
Drink lots of water, don't become dehydrated, always keep a water bottle handy! That'll help keep the hacking down at least. You can't do much but wait for it to run it's course through you.
The other suggestions are great- but I would add your body can fight it better if you eat very simple easily digested foods- can't beat plain chicken/rice soup from can. Boiled potato or other veggies. Trick is to let your system rest. The last thing your body needs now is to digest a steak. You get the picture. Granny always knew best! :)
Plenty of the following: Lots of water, 1,000 unit Vitamin C at least 4 Cs a day, over the counter Cold capsules that address sneezing and cold symptoms, broth soups-chicken or beef, and plenty of rest. If you have a fever call your doctor, although that may be helped by aspirin. If the fever persists and does"nt break go to a walk in clinic or call your doctor...you may have a flu that may require antobiotics! Hope you feel better soon...lots of people I know having the same problem. On the positive side think how great you will feel when you get better!
