I got a sidekick to check my bs...nondiabetic...?!


Question: I hadnt eaten since 8am except a few cheese nips... and at 5:30p had a salad, (spinach, g. peppers, pepperchini's, and tuna, some sauce)from Subway.
At 6:30p I ate a whole Adkins Advantage Smores protein bar....checked my bs. It was 107-113
IS THAT OK?

Those are non diabetic values.
Your sugars are fine.

I would worry about at this point. you should check it before breakfast.

U ALWAYS CHECK UR BLOOD BEFORE BREAKFAST AND BEFORE DINNER.

Yes those numbers are good. As suggested the real test is to check it after 8-12 hours fasting. When you get up in the morning is best. As long as your numbers are below 125 you are good. The closer they are to 80 is better and you should do this for several mornings in a row and take those numbers to your Dr. he/she will be better able to advise you with those numbers at their disposal.
