If you are seeing your general doctor, he or she may refer you to an ENT - ear, nose & throat (otolaryngologist). They specialize in treating the head and neck area. You may have a resistant form of strep.

Sometimes, especially if you get recurrent strep throat, your ENT may wish to do a tonsillectomy (removing the tonsils). The tonsils are actually like a bunch of grapes, with lots of little places for the strep bacteria to hide. I would advise seeing an ENT.

Have you covered all the bases? Fresh toothbrush, washed all your dishes & cutlery in HOT water, etc.

You may need another course of treatment - it could be the antibiotics you got the first time were not quite the ones you need.

Use an antimicrobial product that works with or without antibiotics. The New Silver Solution is proven in killing strep.

The trouble with antibiotics, is that they also kill good bacterium and reduce the effectiveness of your own immune system.

Streptococcus pyogenes - the name of the bacterial strain that causes Strep was found to be eradicated at just 1.25ppm. Gargling with this solution a few times daily will soon kill those pathogens.
