No, I wouldn't stay stress is causing this. If you felt something hard when you wipe, you should really go to another doctor. They can examine your right there in the office to see if there is something close to the anus that shouldn't be there. Either way, if you keep having blood in your stools, I would see another doctor. Keep looking until you find a doctor who is willing to do some testing.

You need to go to another doctor or hospital. Something is not right!

No no no u need to get a new set of dr.s blood in the stool is no joke! I would go to the Er if that dont do it get another until someone helps you!

See a different doctor !!!! You should be tested (upper G.I. and lower G.I. and very least).

You HAVE to be your own advocate! If you don't get a satisfactory answer, try another doctor. This is YOUR LIFE you're talking about.

Change physicians immediately

20 years old young lady with history of chronic abdominal pain, diarrhea and blood in stool and had been seen by 2 gastrologist,if in UK or USA you must had complete GI work up which including upper GI series and colonscopy and a lot of blood test or tissue biopsy.most likely malignancy been r/o and most common disease are consider as following; regional enteritis( crohn's disease)and ulcerative colitis. Both are due to inflammation of guts, first one is on small guts other one is the big guts(colon).Stress can make the symptoms worse.Other consideration in your case is hemorrhoids. For the detail for those illness mention here you can looking from Internet. If you do not have above mention workup then you need to show this note to your doctor and ask to be done.

Yes, stress is a factor for gastritis and this can cause GI bleeding. Make an app't with the gastroenterologist you prefer and request a lower GI series (see link below). Ask if he/she thinks you should, first, have a CBC (bloodwork) to rule out an infection. Begin, now, to list any questions and bring this, with a copy for you, to your doctor for discussion (doctors prefer lists). Some questions to ask are: How is stress a factor? What about diet?
Try to relax(!) - is, quite, common for people to have rectal bleeding and there are, at least, a dozen reasons why with the majority not being serious. I do suggest, however, that you avoid taking aspirin, Ibuprofen, etc., as you may have an allergy - don't forget to put this on your question list.
