My dad has not been eating for almost 10 days since he's got a flu. Pls advi!

Question: If he has the flu he doesn't feel like eating. Let him snack on saltine crackers and ginger ale. Fix him chicken soup made with fat free chicken broth (not campbells, it has too much fat in it when you are sick) rice in fat free broth is good and so is a cooked potato mashed up with fat free chicken broth over it. He can just kind of drink it down. Give him lots to drink. Gatorade is good and tea is good. Whatever he feels like drinking. He has to have liquids or he will become dehydrated. Don't worry so much about the food. Let him eat what he feels like eating but get liquids in him.

Do you really want to trust your father's health, and possibly his life, to people on this website that you don't even know? Even if someone was to tell you he or she was a doctor or a nurse, how would you know they were telling the truth?

Don't be stupid.

Call the hospital. Talk to a real doctor. Be smart.
.

Feed him some chicken soup before he gets worse.

thats not good. try getting him to eat at least something light like toast. he has to eat in order to get better.

Chicken soup or broth, dry toast, tea, orange juice; plain comfort food and plenty of fluids to rehydrate.

thats not good and you should get him some soup w/out noodles and meat that should help him and get some gatorade that will help him from getting dehighiderd and it wil make him fill batter and then get o/j and you will see how fast he gets batter

not generally a problem -just be sure that he stays well hydrated.
