Skin care issues.?!

Question: Im currently using Neutrogena Deep Clean, Neutrogena Blackhead scrub, and Proactive Moisturizer. This is all I can buy and I dont have access to a dermatoligist.
I have a bunch of milia around my eye area, and blackheads on my nose, the are kinda spreading to my cheeks.

The milia are unfortunately usually untreatable (but also usually not very visible), except by laser, surgical removal, or possibly dermabrasion by a dermatologist. Accutane *might* help if the milia are cause by sebaceous glands in the eye area coming to the surface of the skin. You should not try to treat these on your own, as you may just exacerbate the problem, possibly cause scarring, or damage your eyes.

As for your acne, washes/scrubs only have a limited degree of effectiveness. They aren't on the skin long enough to really be therapeutic. It's important to keep your skin clean, but a leave-on treatment is the most important component of any acne regimen (unless you are going to take something oral/internally). You should be using a 2% to 5% benzoyl peroxide cream at night for the blackheads. Anything more than that usually just causes extra irritation without extra benefit.

Unless you have dry skin, you can probably do without a moisturizer, or just buy some Cetaphil at the drugstore for less than you are paying for the Proactive moisturizer. The Clean & Clear Advantage Oil-Free Acne Moisturizer is a good choice for guys if you want a moisturizer. It has a very clean scent, doesn't leave the face too greasy, and also contains salicylic acid to help treat blackheads/acne. I would suggest trying it as your moisturizer (do not use at the same time as the benzoyl peroxide; it will over-irritate the skin). Continue using the blackhead scrub with this combination and see how it works for you.

Eat healthy, drinks lots of water. And continue using the products you have. With time you should see a change

check out evansgarden.com. its workin for me...

drink a lot of water and watch your sugar and dairy intake.

wash your face with neutragena then buy some benzyol peroxide 10 and if your face gets to dry get some cetaphil moisturizing lotion non comedogenic so it wont block your pores

for one thing the milia shows that you use to many products and need to cut down on some.

And in my experience the blackhead scrub hasn't worked for me.

I can't tell you of a particular product that I use, for I use a system called sensiclear.

& it helped my blackheads.

eat healthy wash your face every night(washing your face doesn't get rid of pimples but it does prevent them). Don't get your face dirty like don't don't touch your face that much and it ussually helps if you get a dermitoligist to give you a perscription (sorry i'm not a good speller)

Over-the-counter products are only so helpful, but keep it up if they're all you have access to. For actual pimples, if there are usually more than one or two on your face, get your regular doc to write a prescription for a 6-month supply of tetracycline or doxycycline-- it is cheap (4 to 6 dollars for a 30 day supply) at Walmart. It comes in pill form for ease and convenience. You don't need a dermatologist; your regular doc. can give it to you.

Eating right and drinking water can be part of the solution, but it will not solve the entire problem. Keep up what you're doing.

fill your sink with warm water, add some salt and put your face in it and let it soak.. i know it sounds weird but it works.
