It is EXTREMELY unusual for someone as young as you are to have breast cancer; breast cancer is a disease largely associated with ageing, and 80% of cases are in women over 50.

You are still growing and developing and so you will notice changes in your breasts. And even in older women, most breast lumps are not cancerous. And many women have naturally lumpy breasts.

Talk to your school nurse, who will be used to girls asking this and will be able to reassure you.

Try not to worry without cause.

you're just growing. its probably just your mammary glands. don't worry so much. not too many 14 year olds get breast cancer

classic signs r lump in the breast usualy pain less, bleeding or discharge from nipple occurs,,,usualy lump appear first near ur arm pit...but i think u r too young to hv it,,but who knows..i think u should go to doc 4 check up

Lumps necessarily mean you have breast cancer.Better cosult a doctor.

14 is too young to be worrying over breast cancer! Maybe you eat chocolate or tea or coffee or any number of things that contain caffeine and cause breast lumps. Learn to give yourself a breast exam after your period each month. Learn the lumps and dips or the 'map' of your breasts unique to you....and then if as you grow older you feel any changes that don't seem normal for you...then check with your doctor.
