Answers: The syringe is in increments of ten units going up to 100, need to know as we have to administer meds to live stock.

With insulin, 1 ml is equivalent to 100 units. So, 0.5ml would be 50 units, or halfway on your syringe.

half of one

probably about half a tenth on one unit of the saringe. :)

syringes are usually measured in cc which is a 1:1 ratio to the mL which are the same....if you can see the measurements on the syringe, and it is in cc's they are the same.

I'm confused. The syringe is clearly marked. If you can't figure it out, you shouldn't be administering meds to live stock.

You should probably use a smaller needle.
On a 100 unit syringe, each line (marked 10,20,30,etc) indicates 10 ml of fluid.
1.5 would be difficult to measure perfectly, because 1.5 is so far from the 1st line(10 ml). And obviously no 1.5 line or #!
Try a 50 unit or even a 25 unit syringe if you can find one. It will be easier to measure.
(Unless you simply have to be "close enough" for the animal, meaning , not that serious a medication)
