If i have surgery top fix chiari malformation, will they have to shave my hair??!

Question: i really wanna know

Answers: i really wanna know

Anytime a surgeon makes an incision into your body, that body part must be shaved. Hair increases the risk of post-operative infection and can interfere with incisional healing. Since you are looking at brain surgery, the answer to your question is yes, you will lose some hair. Talk to your neurosurgeon about your concern, he or she can tell you how much hair will be shaved.
