Question: The other day my husband and I went to a local clinic. The people who work there are sometimes rude and can sometimes make people feel bad. Anywho, there was a girl next to us that was talking to a clerk at the desk, and she was whispering something to the nurse. The nurse kept on saying huh, I can't hear you as if she wanted everyone in the clinic to hear what the young woman was saying. The girl finally said to her my boyfriend told me that he found out that he had an STD and I am here to checked out... WOW. I felt bad for her and she looked as if she was about 15-20 years old. My question is what would you do if your partner came and told you that? I

I'd first find out how my partner got the STD, and then I would get checked out myself.
You probably should talk to the clinic director where you overheard the conversation. The HIPPA laws require him/her to take care so that private information is not heard by other patients. There are big fines and potential prison terms for not setting up a system to protect the patients privacy so you would be doing him/her a favor by letting him/her know his current system isn't working very well.

The partner KNOWS what STD he has so he needed to be completely honest. Anywho, she should be tested for ALL STDs and forget about unprotected sex again.
i would make an appointment to get checked out for whatever he says he has. i had to tel my bf about an std that i had. he was a little surprised but ok with it since we later found out that he had it to but from before he met me.
