Could this be part of the flu, or is it something neurological?!

Question: I have had the flu for several weeks, and I had some alarming symptoms, which I wouldn't associate with the flu. I have had the normal symptoms: cough, sinusitis, bronchitis, etc.; but upon arising one day I had extreme dizziness, so problematic that I was trying to stand still and hold onto the wall but fell flat on my face like a felled tree. At the same time, my hands became unable to sustain a grip on anything (even a toaster pastry) for longer than a few seconds. I was unable to walk and holding any object required intense concentration and hold. These symptoms began to go away over the course of approximately four days, and they have not returned for the last week. For a brief time during this period the color vision in one eye seemed to be out of balance. I do suffer from migraines, but my head did not hurt in that way. As well, my Trigeminal Neuralgia was active. Are they likely something that was a product of the virus, or should I be consulting my neurologist?

Are you taking any medications? Also dehydration could be part of the problem but I would see a doctor with out a doubt.

Although I was quite Dizzy and Fatigued when I got the flu
go to a doctor just in case.

Everything you're describing (except the color vision changes) could be brought about by the flu as well as other things. If you're concerned, and you sound like you are, I would suggest consulting your doctor, just in case.

Probably something that was product of the virus, but you should still see your doctor. It is possible to get migraines without the pain. My mom gets them. Her blision gets blurry and she feels faint.
