Question: any suggestions on how to safely do this so it doesnt burn so much? they are very nausia. each tablet has 25 mg of promethazine. they realize they shouldnt inject drugs that are not intended to be injected so if your only advice is "dont inject" then please save your fingers the hassle of typing this

Phenergan can cause phlebitis i'd suggest a hanging bag of Phenergan over it being injecting directly into my vein.
I know they want to inject it directly in but it is kind of risky....
Does he/she have a PICC line? Maybe they can ask the doctor to prescribe in the i.v. hanging bag of phenergan instead. Good luck!
Phenergan doens't work well for me in pill form either..
Why are you injecting the pill when phenegran is available as an IV med? You probably wont get it IV out of the hospital, but if you are in the hospital that is no problem. And if the nausea is that bad, you can possibly be arranged to receive IV phenegran at home.
