High blood pressure...?!


Question: Am 23 I have a very high blood pressure.
I went to doctor for annual check up and after seeing that i have a high B.P he did some tests .the results of the tests were all fine He measured my blood pressure again and it was still high he gave me another appointment so he can check my B.P again.

I just wanna know why I am having high blood pressure in this young age.
I work out for 45 min everyday.I just drink a glass of wine once a week,My diet is healthy and i quite smoking 3 months ago.
How can i lower my blood pressure????help pls

There is a possibility that you have a -type A- personality which means you are high strung and tense all the time. Could be you are under strain from some emotional problem. If doctor cannot find problem---suggest you try bio-feedback or yoga type exercises.

My son had high bp and it was the probable cause of a massive stroke at age 38. He has been hopelessly paralyzed for 3 years now.
He now takes one 10 mg Enalipril tablet daily which has his bp in check. Unfortunately the paralysis cannot be reversed.

I would waste no time in requesting the drug before it is too late.

It sounds like you are doing what you can, lifestyle wise, to lower your blood pressure. Avoid sodium too.
