Does it hurt when your lymph glands are swollen?!

Question: Mine do....i'm getting tested for Mono 2day, and i was just wondering if they are supposed to hurt, or could it be somthing more seriouse than mono.

Yes it hurts especially if both of them are swollen at the same time. Do you have an ear infection? If yes then that could be the reason they are swollen. But if it is not Mono usually the doctors just test to see if you have cancer (you probably dont) but thats usually a sign

most things that get swollen and inflamed will hurt. If you are taking another medication it might have a side effect of causing swollen glands.
