HIV/AIDS transmission?!
Question: I invited a man who helped me fix a flat tire upstairs to my apartment and fixed him hot chocolate as a thank you. He told me he was from Africa. I didn't think one thing about Aids, until when I was picking up his drink after he left, and I was imitating to my roommate how he slurped w/ his spoon, and that's when the spoon he used touched my lips!!!
I am a germ-a-phobe to the max! Please tell me the risk of transmission of HIV/AIDS, assuming he has it.

NO risk at all. You would have had to have unprotected sex with him. A cup of Hot Chocolate, some conversation and even touching his spoon would not infect you with the virus.
Before I started working in this field I would have had the same reaction. It's by communicating that we learn new or corrected information.
there is absolutely no risk
hiv only survives in blood, saliva, semen, and breast milk and it dies as soon as it hits the air, so everything is fine!
You would have to drink 2 gallons of his saliva in order to catch it
yeah thats why t hose people with AIDS wear those tshirts that say (("u can kiss me, i wont give u aids")) not like i would kiss someone with aids no offence but yeah, rest assureu would have to drink **** loads of his saliva to contract HIV. HIV only travels through blood, sexual fluids, NOT saliva...
You can only get HIV or AIDS from Blood, Vaginal Secretions, Semen and Breast Milk.
If he did have HIV/AIDS and u were to get it, then it would have to be from him having a cut in his mouth and then you would have to have a open cut on your lips exactly where you put the spoon for it to be transmitted,,,
And you shouldnt Judge people becuase where their from that they have something wrong with them..
