Is it a urinary tract infection?!
Question: I always feel like I need to pee. But when I do only a little bit comes out. And it really hurts when I pee. And also, there's this dull pain all the time. It's happened to me once before but more severe. It went away after about 5 days. Now it's happening again. I'm female. I know it isn't period pain because last time I was not having my period and it still happened. I drink about 6 glasses of water a day. My mother just told me it was weak kidneys.. but is that all? Is it a urinary tract infection? Thanks in advance.

I've had a urinary tract infection before and your symptoms are sound exactly like mine were. I didn't have symptoms until the weekend, so I got an over-the-counter medicine (AZO) for UTI's until I was able to go to the doctor that Monday morning. Keep in mind that the over-the-counter medicines DO NOT cure a UTI and only help ease the symptoms. The doctor will have to prescribe antibiotics because just by the name, it's an infection.
My advice to you would be to simply go to the doctor, let the doctor diagnose you, and give you treatment because if left untreated you can make things worse for your body. For example, infertility or possibly a spread of the infection that can't reverse damage that is done.
**don't be suprised/scared if the over-the-counter medicines turn your urine BRIGHT orange (it's normal)**
the only way to know for sure is to go to your doctor. they do a test and if you have too much protein in your urine then you have a UTI. next time you pee, try and pee into a cup and if the pee is cloudy and not clear yellow, you most likely have a UTI.
is your pee a hint of orange? is yes then you are bleeding... and yees its a UTI.
Does it hurt so bad your eyes get watery?
Do you feel like you pee hole burns really bad?
And is you have to go evey five min and only pee a little bit?
if yes to any of these ... I would say yes you have a UTI.
Drink Cranberry juice ( I reccomend Ocean spray no sugar added... yummy!)
If not then go to the Dr. mae sure they give you an antibiotic and somthing else for pain... the meds will make you pee bright orange it's pretty cool :)
