Help with boils!?!
Question: I used to have some serious issues with boils that would grow on my behind, pubic area, legs, underarms and sometimes even in my nose. Basically anywhere hair is present. This was about 2 or 3 years ago. I am only 20. Since then I haven't had any problems until now I get small boils on my behind and pubic area again. They are fairly small but the have a horrible odor and they are painful and itch. I went to the doctor when I was having problems years ago and she said something about a surgery that will remove whatever is inside of my body that produces boils. I want to know is there any other remedy that will help either eliminate or reduce boils? My grandmother used to put salt pork on them which would cause them to bust quicker but it is extremely painful and I really don't want another surgery.

I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean or over weight and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there if you are looking.
