Can "buffing" the hair on my upper lip cause major skin damage?!

Question: I use a skin buffer, which is similar to sand paper on a piece of plastic, to get rid of the hair on my upper lip. Could this cause me problems later on in my life? Thanks to anybody who answers.

yes, this can lead to callous and scarring. try another method for exfoliation. see a derm if possible.
