Anything i can do about my fiance's snoring?!

Question: i dont know what to do! over the past 2 weeks its gotten progressivly worse. usually around 2am he just starts snoring. he is almost impossable to wake up too so he's usually on my pillow in my face snoring. sometimes i get him to roll over, but within minutes of that he starts again. to make matters worse, its not just when he's on his back! its nothing like sleep apnea this is more like just steady snoring. it starts off soft (like i can sleep thru it) then just gets louder and louder as the night progresses. last week i was awake for 3 hours because of it, until the point where i just got up and left the house at 4:30. over the past week i've just been leaving and going to my house between 3 & 5, whenever he starts waking me up just to get SOME sleep. but when we finally have our own place together, that wont be an option.
anyone else deal with this? what can i do?? i think it has something to do with the new temperpedic pillows we got, but he loves it & wont give it up

Decide right now if you want to live with this for the rest of your life!!!

There is almost no way to get a snorer to quit!!

I sleep with a Mack truck going up a steep grade all night every night, have been through this problem for 40 years now!!!

Sometimes I go to a different bedroom or sleep in the recliner in the den!!!

Breathe-rite nasal strips

Wow you poor thing! Why not try the nose strips....can't hurt! If it continues I'd definitely check with a Dr. could be sleep apnea.

i can tell u an old way to get rid from it...when he snores u pull his tongue out of his mouth,,,after few time doing this he wont hv this problem again

You can try the nasal strips, but I have never had any success with them. You need to block out the noise with a loud fan and/or some ear plugs. It's an awful predicament, because even though you love your man, it's impossible for you to get any sleep when his snoring is roaring in your ear!

There are some drops that apparently you can take before you go to sleep that will cause the part of the throat that causes the snoring to relax and hence, the snoring noise is reduced. Again, I have no proof of it working, but it's worth a try. Good luck and pleasant dreams!

There are a few kind of devices can use to stop snoring:-

a) Throat Sprays and Nasal Sprays
Throat spray can coat the soft tissues of the throat with lubricating oils. While nasal sprays can reduce congestion or the swelling of nasal tissues. They both allow the air to move more freely and lessening the noisy vibration.

b) Nose Strip
It applied externally and is a kind of cheap device nose strip which help increase the breadth of the air passage and thus reducing snoring. The devices such as adhesive strips which help to hold the airways open of your nose and the plastic devices to hold open your nostrils

c) Mouthpiece Devices
If snoring is caused by a misalignment of the jaws, the jaws can be realigned by some custom-made fitted by own dentist. It will pull the lower jaw or tongue forward and create enough space in throat to prevent breathing obstruction. Or it can be correct though surgery or by using patented devices that help keep the jaws in their proper positions.

By chance, I am writing some articles on bed partner snoring

Hope you can find a method to stop his snoring.

okay... so my husband snores... come to find out he has sleep apnea, but before he got the breathing machine, I used to plug his nose when he started (it was enough to make him stop for a little while)

I used to have a bad problem. Wanted to try surgery but my mum was adamant I shouldn't.

Anyway, I started reading about this problem and tried a number of non invasive methods and now I'm much much better. Some of these natural methods are more effective than drugs.
