Can u get diseasess from siting on a public toilet seat ?!

Question: If your skin is intact, the risk should be pretty low. Your skin is designed to resist invasion from organisms. You come into contact literally with millions of bacteria, mites, viruses etc, every day and usually do not contract any disease. There really is probably not anymore risk of contracting an infection from a toilet seat than any other public surface that you skin might contact (eg. pay phone, door knobs etc.).

It is a myth that you can get sexually transmitted diseases from toilet seat. However you could acquire infections like methicillin resistant staph. aureus (MRSA) or other skin infections.

I would imagine so, Yes. So only use them if you're burstin' and even then ..take some sterri wipes with you.

AIDS? Nope.

Yes, way to many eww.

Yes. Hold on til you get home.

You can get more than diseases, during the recent floods a man was using a public toilet in Hull when a rat jumped up out
of the pan and bit his a*se.

yes u can, not aids or stds, but u can pick up all sorts of germs from public lavs.

aint no use standing on the seat them ther crabs can jump ten feet

probably..? make a 'nest' of toilet paper around the seats edge,

It possible to pick up diseases from contact with any surface, including toilet seats. The most common diseases are cold and flu viruses, E. coli., and staph. STDs are nearly impossible to get from a toilet seat unless you were having sex in a bathroom stall. You can almost eliminate the possibility of picking up diseases by using the seat covers or a layer of toilet paper between you and the seat.

Oddly, toilet seats are usually much cleaner than the handles on the bathroom door, and any other surfaces that people touch with their hands. Most viruses and bacterial infections that people get from public restrooms come from your own hands - that's why washing you hands throughly is so important.

Ewwwwwwe yer, thats why we hover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you missed a :t out of "siting" the answer is yes... if you missed a :h out of "siting" the answer is still yes.
