Is a random blood sugar level of 110 bad for a type 2?!

Question: Normally my levels are below 100 (no medications ever needed). Recently, I've been eating a little bit more than I'm used to (50 birthday parties to attend in one month). Today, I realized that the lowest my sugar level has been during testing is 99. About 4 hrs ago I was 116 (2hrs after eating). 2hrs after that it's 110.

Could it really be the increase in food? Are these levels even considered worrisome? I always strive for low numbers, so seeing anything near what I've been getting is freaking me out.

110 is fine. It is the high end of the normal spectrem which is 80 - 120. No problem.

i just got into this stuff, tell me.

I am type 2, and that is perfect for you. I wouldnt let it get any lower tho, so you dont get sick.

No, you should be fine. My doctor told me it should be under 110 in the morning and under 140 2 hours after eating. What was your last A1C?

No that is almost perfect, I wish my sugars were as good as yours!!
