Question: I have Lactose Intolerance. I know there are Lactose free milk out there and some other stuff. But almost everything has milk, it sucks. If you have this how do you deal with it? Do you think you can cure yourself?

my daughter is lactose intalorente we have to buy lactaid works pretty good just have to take them everytime you eat dairy.Ive also read that is you eat a little at a time you will get used to it but it hurts her to much even if she eats alittle.

You CAN have milk and ice cream...your body just has a limit on how much enzyme it can produce. You have to figure this out for your own body. You may be fine with up to 1 cup of milk a day. For me, it is 1 1/4 cups of milk. You will begin to figure out your limit. I don't have a problem with cheese, just milk. Oh, and ice cream.
No, you can't cure yourself. This is a fairly common intolerance in the US. Also very common as you age.
You can take those lactade pills. they work. take them BEFORE you eat dairy, otherwise they don't work.

Mine was bad when it first started. Puke! If stayed beyond puke gas and bloating and diahrea. My best find was pills at a $1 store. Mean owners! Ask when they will be back on shelf got screamed at.

Later, like a few months apart I got allergic to sunflower seeds and nuts. Tongue swelled up!

I can only get away with these allergies now if my body has a super strong shakey craving for them.

Since some stress has left my body I can tolerate ice cream again, like 80% of the time.

Now my body hates alchohol! Invisible choke hold tight pinch neck swallow area.

Their is someone out their who has life worse than you.

PS Oatmeal drink is at health food stores. NO soy. If you got soy problems. Soy ice cream is better for you. Sherbert ice cream might be better on your stomach.
