Eat airborne as a whole tablet w/o water?!
Question: Can I eat the airborne tablets completely as a whole without dissolving in water? as in just pop it in my mouth and chew on it?
would it have the same effects? would it be less effective? I'm only asking because sometimes chewing on it is less of a hassle then having to get some water and wait for it to dissolve.

NO! It is meant to be dissolved in water! It would be the same as eating AlkaZeltzer... which would not be good for your stomach. If you are taking Airborne to fight off a cold, your body needs the water anyway.
It's all going to the same place so it shouldn't matter. But, the best way to take it is to pop it into a citrus vitamin water, shake it, and enjoy. (it dissolves quicker)
