My 10 month old son?!

Question: Ok I have no idea what to use on my sons head??? His head is always itchy, or so I assume since he is always scratching. It is not all the time but sometimes after we wash his hair he gets like flakes or dandruff. He does have excema on the bottom of his head, and on the side and I can handle that itch to a minimum. However, his whole head I can not. I put a seaweed spray on the excema and it works great but when i put it all over his head it does not?? i have no idea what to do, they perscribed him medicine and it seems to do ok but its only fo rthe night time. What should I use to help soothe is head. I have tried all creams, from aveeno baby cream, to aquaphor and eucerin. I am out of ideas so please somebody help me to keep my baby's head from itching!!!

We used baby oil and that helped. We would wash her head with a baby shampoo daily and the apply a little baby oil. This would help soften the flakes so they could be gently lifted up and also helped decrease the dryness. Decreasing the dryness seemed to help decrease the itchiness as well.

Now that she's older, we use parnevu t-tree oil but I don't know about it's safety in younger children.

Just keep shampooing it, and use the baby brush and comb to loosen the flakes up. He will probably out grow it soon.

My little G-son had that when he was about that age. He would sit and scratch the top of he head all the time.
