Question: Because my mom is like totally suffering over here & we don't exactly know what she has. She is coughing like crazy & has bad headaches, & a fever of 100.7. Don't tell us to go to the doctor because she is goin tomorrow. So just help! Is is contageous?

yes its contagious, keep giving her fluid and wash your hands a lot give her some Tylenol, lite soup, and don't let her wear alot of blankets, and tell her good-luck at the doctors tomorrow, but they will probably say the same thing i said, and if shes not throwing up , and keeping things down she will have to go home and let it run its course,

Yes.It is the flu.I have it right now too as well as thousands of other people.It's really bad.A person is contagious 1 day before they start getting symptoms.Just so you know there is always a risk of developing pneumonia with the flu so if she is coughing to the point that it's hard to catch her breath or is having difficulty breathing or speaking in any other kind of way then you should take her to the hospita.l
Sounds like the flu that is going around and going to the Doc will do her no good because there is basically nothing they can do except suggest liquids and tylenol for the fever, aches and pains.
