It's not a heart attack.?!

Question: I have chest pain. Like someone pushing their hand into the left side of my chest just off the breast bone. My left arm down to the elbow has been aching on and off for a week now. When my arm aches the fingers on my left hand also tingle.
I have had multiple ECG's over the past week, and blood tests that show I have not had a heart attack. Doc is pretty sure it is not strictly stress related.
I am quietly confident I am not going to die from this, however I am also quietly confident I am going around the bend sitting on my but waiting for the vet to figure out what this could be from. Does anyone have any suggestions to wha this could be other than going to another Doc? (I've already done that, same result)

I had the same thing except I never had to go thru all the tests, I had all the same symptoms, chest pains, pains shooting down my arm, constant tingling and aching etc. I went straight to the doctors I was so scared. My doctor came to the conclusion I had a pinched nerve. I took a muscle relaxant that night and slept on my back (hoping once relaxed everything would begin to re-align itself) and by next morning I had no more symptoms. I was so scared, I was 31 at the time (am pushing 33 now) but I was so worried because my brother had a heart attack on his 30th birthday so as uncommon as a heart attack is in your 30's I knew it can happen!). Thankfully I havent had it since. Get yourself a few different opinions when you have a problem that worries you as doctors are only human and can also make mistakes too. Good luck...

Because you have had multiple test for your heart and they have all come out normal that leads me to believe the pain is from something else entirely in the chest area. The left arm hurting down to the elbow, and numbness or tingle on the fingers could be from a nerve pressing on your shoulder or neck or an injury related to something like carpel tunnel where you do the same type of motion over and over again. The pain on your left side of chest could be from a pulled muscle? How long have you had this pain and is it related to anything else such as rapid heart beat (palpation's) or shortness of breath? Because your heart seems to be functioning very normally, I'd say they could be panic attacks from anxiety or simple a pulled muscle depending on if you work out. There will always be a lot of unknowns, but trust the test results. Do you get anxious a lot of things in your life and have you ever had a panic attack before? Just things to consider. You mention until the VET finds out what is wrong, well I know the VET personally has some of the finest diagnostic tests and a few very fine docs as well. Good luck!
