Can you see cancer through a ultra-sound???? plz help!?!
Question: Ultra sound picks up tumor growths in the abdomen and abdominal organs such as the liver, kidneys, colon, etc. The advantage is that it is quick, avoids radiation, and penetrates organs. It does not catch everything, but it is particularly good for monitoring growths in the liver and kidneys.

You usually can't tell it's a cancer if you see something on ultrasound, but you can tell if it is an abnormal lump that is not normally found in that particular organ.
Especially good for liver and kidneys (and heart).
You'd need to get a sample of the stuff (biopsy) to show that it was cancer.
Only a biopsy can truly detect cancer. Ultrasound can detect areas of interest, that would need to have a biopsy.
