What part of the body does Mononucleosis effect?!

Question: It's glandular fever. I had it for the millennium (fun!) and I felt like I was going to die. It was like flu but a hell of a lot worse, all these bumps came up behind my ears and in my throat, I was puking all the time and my whole body was hurting.
