Please Help, symptoms I'm not sure what it could be.?!

Question: K, things have been getting worse, started out with little muscle spasms that really hurt, my neck is always tender at my should and neck connection (if I explained that well) in the past two months I went from having migraines from once or twice a week to five times a week, my feet are now curling up on me and I can't go to sleep and I have to stand on them and use my body weight to get them to straighten out, I don't have the muscle strength anymore to pick my son up, yesterday sitting on the couch went to stand, my legs were slightly numb and prickly, then the this morning my legs almost gave out on me and I almost fell what could this be please help and there have been continued tiredness, my brain don't seem to think straight, I am going to see a neurologist in a week for the migraines, wondering if anyone else has been through this and what suggestion I could take to the nuerologist in what this might be, thank you any advice would be great.

There are way too many possible causes to make a reasonable guess. For the most part, it looks like some type of autoimmune condition that is affecting your nervous system, but it could also be something much more simple like a slipped disc, nerve compression, or even an electrolyte imbalance. The neurologist will hopefully identify or narrow down the possible causes.

You can at least test out the electrolyte possibility. Try taking a tablet with magnesium and calcium with each meal and at bedtime, and drink a little more fluids than normal. If you have an electrolyte problem, you will see an improvement with a day or two. If there is no improvement from the supplements after 3-4 days, then an electrolyte imbalance is not part of the problem.

Have them do a titer for West Nile Virus.
