What's wrong with me? Inflammed part of my throat?!
Question: The area anterior to the uvula (is that the thing hanging in the back?) on one side is inflammed and red. Is this tonsilitis? Or strep throat? Or neither? Also, I don't know if this is related or not, but I have a cough. If anyone knows what this is, I would appreciate it. I know I should probably just go to the doctor, but I honestly won't bother with it unless it may be serious. Thanks.

i have had those symptoms and it turned out to be strep. does it hurt when u swallow? i'd go to the doctors. you need antibiotics
it could be irritation from post nasal drip
it could be GERD
If it bothers you or causes any pain?
