Just present your info as facts, not opinions. You can't worry if the truth offends someone, cos it usually does. On the other hand, you could be doing that smoker a favor with your reminders of the dangers of smoking. Just don't show any attitude.

Could also point out how the tobacco companies target young people with their cartoon-like characters. And the old Marlboro Man, who was presented as a rugged outdoors type, very handsome. Sex sells cigarettes just like every other product. Too bad the poor man died from lung cancer.

Maybe talk more about the cigarette companies and their unlawful practices instead of telling people how unhealthy cigarettes are. Just my opinion.

Encourage people to quite smoking by just trowing them away. Best way to stop. I did it after 38 years and have not smoked in 5 years. The craving last only a few seconds and I still get them. Just an idea

Well there really isn't any pros to smoking other then
1. some people think they look cool and it cool to smoke.
2. They can stop you from stressing alot and stop you from eating too.

I am a smoker and have been smoking since i was 9 or 10 and i am now 28, I regret taking up smoking, only because
1. I have trouble breathing
2, When i play with my kids i get shortness of breath.
3. for the past 10 years i have bad chest pains ( from smoking.
4, They taste disgusting
5 Ruins your teeth
6 Gives you bad breath
7.Your hair clothes and everything smells of smoke
8 The worst thing is it is harmful to all kids around.
9, Smoking causes cancer.

The best thing anyone can do if they smoke is give up.
I am trying to give up smoking. I wish i didn't smoke because smoking has ruined my life.

this is a great topic to do a speech/presentation on. Lots of information, pro's and con's sides to this. I for one did try smoking, but didn't like it so have not smoked, but for the people who do, they do find it relaxing and enjoyable. However, lots of health problems are associated with cigarrettes. Even though they are mandated well here in Canada anyways to have large print of how harmful they are, people still seem to smoke, even when the prices go up as well. Yes, it's like any bad habit, it's hard to break. I wish you luck in your research, and if I can assist you any further with this topic, I'm very pleased to do so. Take care and again awesome topic. You'll do great!!!
